I am not dead! Plus life updates!

It seems like all my journals start with me apologizing and this one isn't any different Hello birdies! I am indeed not dead nor have I forgotten dA! Lots of things have happened in my life recently and I have not had the time to log on and stay online for hours on end like I used to >.<" I went on a super long trip-almost a month away from home to be exact - and I had very limited internet access because I was out of the country for about 5 weeks xD While it was very fun and a lovely trip to visit relatives, it was definitely too long to be away from my home and friends. Last week was when I got back home so I've been very busy with catching up on everything I left behind xD But since it's the second week since returning I have a little downtime which is lovely and it will be spent online as much as possible ^.^

This is an apology to all my wonderful watchers that I am so sorry for disappearing for so long and this is also an update on what's been happening in my life  College is coming up soon and I'm sure some of you can understand how long and difficult this process can be in choosing a college that you're happy attending. My parents really wanted me to leave home and attend college in another state and for awhile I agreed until the time came closer to finalizing my decision. I realized I wasn't completely ready to leave my friends and home after being away for so long and I came to the decision-much to the dislike of my parents- to stay and attend my local college. I feel like this is the best choice for me as it will allow me to get used to college in a familiar environment and also learn how college works so I can attend another college in a year or so ^.^ College will start the 18th of August and I will be extremely busy close to that date in order to get ready and prep for the exciting and terrifying event that is college xD How many of you are in college or going to college? Are you excited? Scared? xD

Besides dealing with college, I've also been back into my cosplaying again! I haven't done  any cosplay work since NDK and now that NDK is once again coming up it's time to get cracking and start sewing! I just got a new sewing machine which is gorgeous and I'm in love with it! It has over 50 stiches and electronic and so much better than the dinosaur I've been using for years xD I named her Stephanie Dola x3 (for those who get the reference, I love you! for those who don't, GASP! You must go watch this anime* now!) I'm super excited to work on cosplay with Stephanie and boy, I have a lot to work on beside my own xD I have friends' costumes to work on as well which I don't mind because it gives me more things to sew! So I'll probably have some updates on my cosplay work soon when I get around to it x3 are any of you working on new cosplays or have any cons to attend soon?

Writing wise I've been very slow and haven't had any motivation nor time to sit down and get to writing >.< This week is filled with birthdays so no time for writing but probably next week I will settle down and get stuff that I need done xD Thank you all who have been so patient with me regarding their writing! I truly appreciate it greatly! I will try and go through my to do list and be productive

I've been watching this season's new anime which I think has a wonderful selection! Very happy about what's out this season >w< have any of you been keeping up with the new anime? What are your favorite titles? I'm super excited to be watching Aldnoah Zero, Sailor Moon, Akame ga Kill, and DRAMAtical murder. So many lovely animes!
