Izaya X Reader Chapter 29

"Don't dig around in my closest you pervert! Now get out before Shizuo finishes his shower." Izaya pouts childishly before kissing you sweetly on the lips. He walks to the door but spins around to face you.

"Before I leave what do I smell like? Shizu-chan says he can smell me a mile away but what does he smell? I'm always confused by that." You shrug your shoulders and shove him out the room.

"Go out the front door quietly and take the stairs. Elevators will make too much of a racket. Shizuo can hear those pretty well." Izaya nods and winks at you before exiting out the door. You breathe a sigh of relief and head into the kitchen to make some stew for dinner.

Shizuo gets out of the showers a few minutes later with his hair dripping wet and a towel hung over his neck. You add some milk in the stew as he looks over your shoulder.

"The food smells good. But damn this house doesn't. I can smell that flea in here now. God the scent from your room must have leaked into the house." He grabs his pack of cigarettes and lights one up. "The smell of smoke is better than Izaya's stench." You nod your head in agreement and focus your attention on the food. Shizuo looks at you suspiciously as he exhales some smoke.

"You're usually yelling at me whenever I smoke in the house. What are you hiding?" You stiffen up and force a smile on your face.

"Nothing! I just think I'm too hard on you, is all. If you want to smoke indoors, you have every right to. After all you're the oldest." Shizuo stares at you for a moment before shrugging and turning the TV on. You relax and dish out the stew, eager to finish eating and sleep the night away.

After finishing your shift at the café you head outside, looking down at the ground. You feel terrible for having to lie to Shizuo last night. You also feel awful for kissing Izaya back. "He's Shizuo's worst enemy and I kissed him. What would he do if he found out about all this? Would he disown me as his sister? Hate me for the rest of his life? I don't want to think about anything happening like that. It's a dangerous game Izaya is playing and one of us is going to end up hurt. I can just feel it." You walk towards an alley when three girls and a bald guy come running out of there screaming.

The girls bump into your shoulder and the bald guy is chasing after them holding his pants up. You scowl and rub your shoulder, glaring at them. "Oh hey I'm sorry for bumping into you. It was all my fault. Sheesh that would have been nice to hear. That bald guy didn't do a good job with his haircut. He missed the sides and looks retarded. Also he should consider investing in a belt. Wonder what they were screaming about?" You dust yourself off and walk a little bit before you crash into someone and fall backward on the ground.
