Izaya X Reader Chapter 22

Setton: I don't think this is the place to be discussing something like this.

Kanra: Aww but Kirei was just getting to the good part!

Kirei: No its fine Setton. I'm okay with talking about it. I'm not really sure if I like him. I think he likes me but I don't know my feelings about him.

You see that Celty has sent you a private message and you click on the button to respond to her.

Setton: Everything okay?

Kirei: Not sure yet. Really conflicted with emotions right now.

Setton: Don't worry you don't have to tell me now. I'm here whenever you want to talk though.

Kirei: Thank you that means a lot.

You see that Kanra has responded in the main chat room so you type your reply.

Kanra: Stuff like this takes time sometimes. I'm sure you'll grow to like him! \^w^/

Kirei: I don't know about that but thanks for listening. I should go now goodbye everyone.

Kanra: Anytime! I always love listening to my new friends! Bye bye~

Setton: Have a good night Kirei

Kirei has logged off

You shut off your computer and your phone beeps for a text. You check who the sender is and grin. Masaomi is wondering if you would like to hang out tomorrow after work. You respond with an excited yes and tell him to meet you outside the café after your shifts. You toss your phone onto your dresser and crawl into bed for a restless night.

"I'm glad you came back for work! Even if it was one day you were gone, it was a disaster! I lost so much money! But don't worry I'll pay you for your extra shift. Have a good rest of the day sweetie!" You wave bye to Sachiko and head outside the café. Masaomi is leaning against a wall waiting for you and grinning.

"Masaomi! I've missed you. Thanks for inviting me to hang out with you." You give him a big hug and he hugs you back tightly.

"I haven't seen you in forever! It breaks my heart to be away from you for so long." You giggle and start walking with him.

"What have you been up to? And how are Mikado and Anri doing?" He puts his hands in his pockets and smiles slightly.

"Mikado really likes Anri but he's too shy to tell her. I'm trying to help him out, he's so hopeless sometimes. As for me, the usual stuff. Nothing really is happening to me lately. You?"

You scratch your head awkwardly and wonder where to begin. You don't want to mention Izaya to Masaomi because you know how much he despises the informant. "Well I got my job; Erika gave me a story to read, and I'm trying to keep Shizuo out of trouble. But most of all, I've missed you. A lot. I guess we both have been so busy; we don't even have time to hang out as much as we used to." Masaomi gently touches your arm and smiles.

"I miss the old days also. So that's why we have to make today awesome!" You nod excitedly and grab his arm, pulling him into a nearby bookstore you both love. After reading some books, you guys go to a few different places before exiting out of a clothing store.

"I should go to clothing stores more often! Plenty of hot chicks hang around there. Did you see that brunette? She was totally checking me out!" Masaomi throws his hands in the air and laughs. You giggle and check your phone to make sure Shizuo is not being worried about you. You pocket the phone and stretch your arms.

"Where do you want to head to next? Hopefully there will be more hot girls there!" You roll your eyes playfully and put a finger to your lip.

"Let's see we can go to" You get cut off when a pair of arms wrap around your waist from behind you. You blush deeply when you realize who the arms belong to.
