Izaya X Reader Chapter 15

"I wanted to say something but you started running before I got the chance to. And besides, I didn't want to cause a scene by yelling at you. But now we're alone, free to talk all we want." His voice lowers and sends a shudder through your spine. You begin to have a really bad feeling but can't will yourself to run. He steps closer to you and puts both hands on either side of you, trapping you. You chuckle nervously and stare into his eyes.

"Okay you've got me alone. What do you want to talk about?" He smiles and grabs your knife from your hand, tucking it into his pocket. Now you start to sweat, having your weapon gone means you are totally defenseless now. He touches noses with you and you feel his warm breath on your face.

"I just wanted to say how you are so interesting to me. You are by far my favorite human and I usually don't pick favorites. You intrigue me greatly like how you keep a monster like Shizu-chan under control, how everyone who meets you automatically likes you, and how you make me feel. When I'm around you, I can't describe it. My chest tightens and I forget what I want to say sometimes. I can't believe a human can make the great Izaya Orihara lose his train of thought but you somehow manage to do it." Your face blushes at his words and you laugh softly.

"Do you really mean that or are you just toying with me like usual? I mean why haven't you told me sooner? I haven't even seen you around lately." He tilts your chin up and grins.

"I've been busy. Namie doesn't give me much free time so I have to sneak out of my office. And you tell me if I'm being honest or not." He inches closer, closes his eyes and presses his lips gently to yours. Your eyes widen and you feel butterflies flutter in your stomach. But you remember who is kissing you so you refrain from kissing back.

Izaya continues to kiss you a little harder before moving away to get air. He chuckles softly and kisses your lips again. "It's no fun if you don't play along," he whispers as he tucks a piece of hair behind your ear. You look at him with a scowl and a deep blush on your face.

"Sorry I have a "no kissing people I hate" rule." He smiles and places a couple kisses on the side of your jaw, moving down slowly to your neck kissing all the way down. Your face grows hotter and you try to force out a sentence.

"Iz-Izaya. Sto-stop it," you manage to utter. You feel Izaya smiling on your collarbone and shudder a little when you feel his breath on it.

"I don't think you want me to stop," he whispers before biting hard into your neck. Your eyes become wide and you can't contain a little moan that slips out. He sucks and licks the bite, forming a bright purple mark before going back to your lips and kissing them again.

"I have to go now. Be safe going home." He kisses your forehead before taking off out of the alleyway. You stare at him confused before bringing your hand to your neck and slowly tracing the bite. You sink onto the ground and rub your temple tiredly. You look up at the night sky with an exhausted expression. One last thought runs through your mind before you get up and head home.

"What just happened?"

You quietly step inside the apartment and adjust your bag so that the strap covers up the bite mark. Shizuo is at the dining room table eating pudding before he looks at you and stands up.
